1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Clarex (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Clarex is an AI-powered data intelligence platform that allows users to upload data files, perform automated analysis, and generate narrative reports. The Service includes a web application, AI chat interface, and report delivery system.

3. Account Registration

You must provide a valid email address and create a password to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

4. Your Data

You retain all ownership rights to the data you upload to Clarex. By uploading data, you grant Clarex a limited license to process, analyze, and store your data solely to provide the Service. We do not claim ownership of your data and will not share it with third parties except as described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload data containing personally identifiable information of others without consent
• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, disassemble, or decompile the Service
• Exceed the usage limits of your subscription plan
• Share your account credentials with others

6. Subscription and Billing

Clarex offers tiered subscription plans with varying levels of access. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods.

7. AI-Generated Content

Reports, narratives, and analyses generated by Clarex are produced by AI models and should be reviewed for accuracy before making business decisions. Clarex does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated content. You are responsible for verifying all outputs.

8. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or due to circumstances beyond our control. We will provide reasonable notice for planned downtime.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Clarex shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising out of your use of the Service.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may request export of your data within 30 days of termination.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice.
